Thanks everyone, and a nice catch @Roberto that it's downloading the wrong file despite the link.
It looks like it may be the old Winter schedule marked: Valido dal 01.06.2023 while the current Summer schedule is marked: Valido dal 24.07.2023. If the Winter schedule doesn't start until the new year then October may still be the current Summer schedule.
So I guess my more general question is the reading of this:
L004: Scolastica - School Days
L016: Domenica e festivi invernali - Sundays and Holidays
L005: Scolastica escluso Sabato - School Days (except Saturdays?)
L123: Feriale estiva (Summer every weekday)
L164: Feriale estiva escluso Sabato (Summer weekdays except Saturday?)
I'd like to take the bus versus the train (1:10 versus 2.5-3 hours) but I'd also like to better understand the reading of bus schedules. I had the same experience in France where the busses are geared towards locals so they come with much less English accommodation than trains and museums.
My Italian is slowly improving but nothing makes you realize the gap between learning and real world usage when you run into everyday things. And when it comes to transportation schedules L'inglese e il mio preferito.
As long as I'm doing the right thing to assume that only busses label L016 will be running on Sundays then I'm okay. If worse comes to worse the train station is right there so that will be the fallback plan.
Thanks everyone,
