Help on Naples City Center to Airport

Hi:

I'm trying to find out how to get to the Naples airport from anywhere in the City Center to catch an early morning flight and I'm not having much luck finding any options beside bus or taxi and the bus seems to be sold out.

I have to connect to my turn flight to Canada in Rome but I'm wondering if this not going to work out for me.

Can my hotel or Airbnb host help me arrange transportation?

Options seem limited and maybe this is too much risk, maybe I should go back to Rome the night before by train for instance?

Just looking for tips and advice.

Thanks

Thanks,
Eldon

The city has flat rates for taxis to certain locations including airports. Google to find rates. The driver tried to charge me for luggage, and I reminded him of the city rate with no extra charge for luggage.

The taxi flat rate imposed by the City is €18 from the station and €21 from the port/dock.
The airport is only 3 miles away from the station (15-25 min away depending on the horrible Naples’ traffic)
The above flat fare is valid during the day or night, and is comprehensive of the baggage. It does not include the €1 freeway toll if the driver decides to take the freeway, which is generally unnecessary unless there is traffic on the surface streets and in any case it’s a very short stretch (one exit later). It also does not include the radio dispatch if you call the taxi, but there is no need to call since from the station there will be plenty of taxi cabs lined up at the station taxi stand or other locations in the city center.
Make sure the taxi driver doesn’t try to pull a fast one on you. Neapolitans have a reputation for pulling fast ones.
