Help needed to plan itinerary

Hi,

I am planning on a trip from Newark June 14th. I am looking to arrive at Naples international airport June 15th and stay in amalfi, positano and Capri.

Leaving from Naples international airport, i would either like to visit Lake Como or Cinque terre in any order.

Having challenge putting an itinerary together.
This is my plan:

June 18th: Naples to Milan International airport and drive to Varenna to head to Lake como.

June 21: Drive from Varenna to MXP and take a train to cinque terra. Is this the smartest way to travel.

Can you please help me optimize this trip specially the travel part, and the suggested places to stay.
Also, what you would suggest would be the perfect order of towns to visit in CT.

Did you buy the airline ticket yet?

If you did not buy the plane ticket yet.

Consider flying open jaw from Newark to Milan as there is a direct flight and then Naples to Newark.
From Milan take to the train to Varenna for Lake Como.
From Varenna take the train to Monterosso (Cinque Terre)
From Monterosso Cinque Terre take train to Naples
From Naples take the train to Salerno for the Amalfi Coast

You might rent a car somewhere instead of the train but this more organized.
And you should clarify how much time you have as you might be trying to cover too much in a short time.
