Help! Italy Train Orta to Brig

I think that I've struggled with italiarail and trenitalia and etc websites enough to say "I give up" and again ask you folks about something that I probably should have been able to figure out for myself, so . . . . Can I get by train from Orta (Miasino), on Lake Orta in Italy, to Brig in Switzerland? It looks like I can go from Orta to Domodossola, and from Domodossola to Brig: right? If so, how long does it take, on average? If not, please set me straight. Thanks much! (Also, if anyone wants to chime in on my last week's Q re "your fave Italian lake and why", please do so!)

I looked it up on a map, the station is called "Orta-Miasino".

I then looked on https://www.sbb.ch/en (Swiss Railways) for next Wednesday and found departures at 07:40, 14:32, 17:08, 18:32 taking 2 hours change at Domodossola. There are also other trains going south from Orta-Miasino and taking a longer and slower route.
The trick is, Italian train times are currently only available up to the annual timetable change on 9th December. Times after that will be published "any day now" (Italian times are always late appearing). For planning purposes, assume the times will be the same as now.

Trenitalia ( http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en ) gives the same info, but again only up to 9th December (so far).
The Swiss, of course, published their times for next year weeks ago.

Of course!

Being late when the agreed deadline is December 9 is a little strange, but it must be the Swiss time zone.
