I am looking for a recommendation for two couples at the end of March for lodging possibly near Greve in Chianti but in that general area. We haven't decided on an agriturismo or castle/winery/villa. Any recommendations on which and suggested places would be great. We will be staying 3 nights.

Eileen - Just got back a couple of weeks ago. We stayed in Panzano (near Greve) at Villa Il Palagio (www.infochianti.com). It is the second time we have stayed there. The huge villa is divided into several self catering apartments. The villa is luxuious - extremely clean - and the grounds and views are extrodinary. I really recommend this villa for anyone exploring Tuscany. Plus the village of Panzano is charming - fantastic restaurants too! Have fun.
