We will be going to Italy and plan on staying in Varenna for 4 nights. Any suggestions for reasonably priced (175 euros) accommodation would be appreciated.

There aren’t very many hotels in Varenna. I would start with a site like booking.com. You can plug in you exact dates, filter by price, and see what is available. If you don’t find anything to your liking in your budget, you might consider Mennagio.

Check out "il Bolentino". Lovely people and within easy walking distance to train station.

" il Bolentino" is booked for the time we will be there. I did find another accommodation for the dates we need. Thanks for the suggestion. It did look very nice.

We stayed at Casa Mary Varenna for four days in July 2022. The apartment is located right at the water. It was a spacious apartment/private terrace. There is a small gourmet market and purchased items to make some meals during our stay. The owner is very kind. She picked us up at the train station and drove us to our accommodations. Check it out. It was the best!
