Just changed our Tuscany trip to include Cinque Terre. Currently have car rental Jun 1 to 8. Cinque Terre trip from June 6 to 8. We need to catch flight to Paris from Pisa at 6 am on the 8th. Should I just return the car early (on the 6th) and take the train to Cinque Terre and then take train back to Pisa and catch for early morning flight or keep the car and drive back to Cinque Terre and then drive back to Pisa Airport to return car and catch 6 am flight? Want to find best option for making sure we catch our early morning flight.

No need for a car in the Cinque Terre, especially given the daily cost of the car and parking. However, needing to be in Pisa to catch a 6:00 AM flight (At the airport by 4:00 AM) means taking a train that early in the morning is not possible, and using the car probably not practical. (would rental return be available? You would need to leave the CT at about 2:00 AM or earlier) I would suggest finding a place in Pisa the evening of the 7th. It does not leave much time for the Cinque Terre, but it would be a quick look.

Since you have a 6 am flight? Turn the car in at Pisa, get a hotel there by the airport and just do a day trip to Cinque Terre.

You absolutely do not want to be in the CT the morning of a 6:00 AM flight from Pisa. Turn the car in on the 6th, take a train into the CT and stay in Pisa the night before your flight.

That's easy, no cars.
Change the car rental. Leave the car in La Spezia (check hours) on June 6th. Then train into one of the 5 villages (Manarola is my favorite). Stay one night. It is worth it.
Late afternoon on the 7th, train into Pisa. See the tower. Spend the night near the airport. Fly out.

We were wanting to do a boat tour. Would love a private one, however, as only four in our party I’m not sure how reasonable the price would be. We will be on a cruise ship which docks in LaSpezia. Does anyone have suggestions?

sherriecar, best if you start a NEW thread with your question. It can be confusing to discuss two different trip scenarios in the same thread. Also, your question will be buried in a topic header that has nothing to do with boat tours.
When you ask your question, you also need to include the date and approx. time you'll be arriving and time you need to be back on the ship.
