Hi, we need help booking 2 CLEAN rooms with air conditioning in Cinque Terre. The problem is we have a car. According to RS book the best town to stay in is Monterroso? Unfortunately we are having a hard time finding a place. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. We will be arriving in the Cinque Terre from Verona, staying 2 nights then driving on to Greve in Chianti.

When is your trip?
You can always park in La Spieza's train station underground lot and reach any of the 5 villages with ease from there.
Or drive to Rio Maggiore or Manarola and park your car overnight in the town lot for either town without difficulty during most of the year though spots could fill up.
We have no idea when and where you have looked for lodging.
You won't use your car while in the CT so you can park in Monterosso and train to whatever village you will stay in. They are all very close to each other.
You could also stay in Sta margarita ligure (lovely) and train it to CT.
Car safety is most imp. And rental cars are targets in Italy.
Thanks everyone for the input. We booked 2 nights at Villa Accini in Monterosso, it seems ok. They have free on site private parking which we need, air conditioning, and breakfast. Has anyone stayed there???
