Hello,
We just returned from our Village Italy 2025 tour. Loved the tour - with some reservations to be noted at a later date. I specifically wanted to comment on our visit to the Etruscan Museum on Day 7 at Chianciano. It was simply one of the best guided tours through a museum (any) we've ever experienced. And that was mainly due to our special guide for the tour - Roberto. I wanted to learn his full name (It was given but I didn't take notes at the time) and hopefully, contact information. He was that good. Incredible knowledge, a brilliant sense of humor that was used to the max that kept us laughing and smiling the entire time. Yes, we learned
much about the Etruscans but with Roberto's style of presentation; his humor; his ability to present facts with directness and power, you were drawn into this world right from the start. What an impression he made! All the history - layers of it - presented in a way that made learning fun and entertaining. The best teachers/lecturers can master this. Roberto was on that level. Great choice RST!!
Probably Roberto Bechi. https://www.toursbyroberto.com/roberto-bechi
Hello,
Yes! That’s the man!
Thank you for the info!
He shows up in some of the RS tv shows.
He also was involved in the making of a beautiful short movie about Tuscany which you can watch on Amazon.
