Have you had good rental experiences with Cross-Pollinate in Italy?

I have excellent experiences with Cross-Pollinate as has my son and his family. The last time was Fall of 2012 in an apartment in Barcelona. We have stayed in Rome, Venice and Florence and an apartment in Paris.

I have had great success with them.

Your are still relying on the property owner to be there on time etc. but I have had no issues at all with their descriptions and have enjoyed a couple of the property owners a lot. More fun to chat with them than checking into a hotel for sure.

I've not used them outside of Italy.

They are, or were, recommended by Rick. We've used them on several trips. One of the most reliable in the business in my opinion.

My husband and I have had wonderful experiences with them. They are helpful, the descriptions are accurate, and they help to solve any issue should one come up. We have so far only stayed in apartments in Rome, but intend to use them for Paris and other locations. The owners are a really nice couple with adorable daughters. Highly recommend them.

Second response from me.....I have just reserved with them for September and October 2014. I have also contacted them about lodging in cities that they don't normally list and they have been very helpful with that.

We have had great experiences with them in Paris and Rome. Also, stayed at the Beehive, which is the owner's hotel/ hostel in Rome. They are so easy to work with, we will definitely use them again.
