Has anyone used Tickitaly recently?

I will be in Florence this spring from April 14-22. I was really hoping to see Michelangelo's secret room. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I missed the window of opportunity to purchase tickets directly from the official website.

However, on the Tickitaly site their calendar indicates that they have tickets available for a few of the dates I'll be in Florence. They recommend putting in "my times are flexible" for the date I choose. They say I must checkout first before they can confirm the dates and times I ask for are actually available. Also, they indicate that my card won't be charged until the date is confirmed. They're only charging an additional €7 over the website price.

I have never used them and I'm not terribly comfortable paying first, finding out later. A fast google check says they are legit but I'm not sure that convinces me. I'm concerned I want this so much that I might be easily scammed.
Has anyone used them recently and what was your experience? Legit or no?
Thanks in advance for any info you can give.

I visited Michelangelo's Secret Room in 2024. It is fantastic. I bought tickets through the official sight so I don't know about Tickitaly. But I do know Medici limits 3 to 4 people to each time slot. Time in the secret room is 15 minutes. This is to preserve the drawings. With those limitations, I don't know how Tickitaly can sell tickets unless Medici is blocking time for them.

Sounds like Tickitaly doesn’t actually have the tickets yet (which is often the case when third party resellers are “selling” tix to hard to get venues)

Wondering if they are legitimate and they have been able to purchase several tickets through the official website that they then re-sell.

If so, I'm willing to pay their €7 fee in order to have a chance at visiting this site.
