I want to tour both the Chianti and Montalcino wine regions. I am staying in Florence and since I have visited the major sites there 2 years ago...David, Uffizi, Duomo, Santa Croce...I thought I would expand into the surrounding areas. Also, is San Gimignano worth the trip?

i have not been to italy yet, so have not used Tours in Tuscany. however, i have been corresponding with Gianni to perhaps plan a tour with him. he has been very responsive and wants to make the tour as we want it. from this alone, i would say he deserves at least a chance. we are comparing Gianni with five other tour companies. he is at the top of my list right now. not sure if that helped! =) have fun!

I have been researching others as well and Gianni seems reasonable and affable. I will continue to research and hopefully make a decision soon. I hope when you do visit you enjoy your trip. We loved it so much, we can't wait to go back.
