I was looking for information on taking a night train from Nurnberg Germany to Rome. Would this be a waste of money and time? Would you suggest just making a flight to Rome? Has anyone ever done this? What are your experiences? What are the prices like for night trains? I have looked at websites but they are a bit confusing. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

There is a night train from Munich to Rome. Nurnberg is only an hour away from Munich via the ICE train. It leaves Munich 9pm and arrives in Rome at 9am.
