Aloha from Hawaii-I am trying to fly from Venice to Athens in late May-early June 2010. I have looked into a few airlines (I am a little wary of Alitalia b/c of its reputation) and I have looked into kayak.com and similar kinds of websites but I am kind of stuck. I would really appreciate it if fellow travelers who have flown this route could tell me what worked best for them in terms of airline and scheduling. Thank you in advance.

WE have done this flight and flew aegean airlines
but from milan. I would look into swiss or luftansa I dont know anything anout austrian airlines
