My group will be arriving at 8:30 a.m. in Rome. Check-in time at our hotel is early afternoon. The Rick Steve's Rome book mentioned luggage storage at the Termini. Has anyone used it? Will it accommodate medium to large sized luggage?

Have done so and no problem with the normal range of luggage sizes. Your luggage will be x-rayed and taken away for storage. We found the process straightforward.

Thanks Steve. I have emailed the hotel to see if they would possibly keep our luggage until check-in, but wanted a back up. I appreciate knowing we won't be able to just drop off and run. Thanks again!

I have never found a hotel that did not provide a storage area. Your situation is a very common experience AND if your room is available you can checkin anytime. Only once in four trips to Rome have we not been able to checkin when we arrived. Go to yo8r hotel first.
