Has anyone stayed at the Scaleter apt owned by son of Pensione Guerrato?

Would love to hear your opinion. Pensione is sold out.

I haven't stayed in the apartment, but have stayed at Pensione Guerrato 3 times. Then, several years ago when they were fully booked, PG referred me to Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo, about a ten minute walk away (JUST off the San Stae vaporetto stop - no bridge). I have grown to MUCH prefer the Hotel APM: incredibly helpful, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast (outside in garden on nice days), beautiful rooms, wonderful location, comparable price to Pensione G, if not a bit less, and not all those stairs you have to go up to get into PG. Just a thought for a similar alternative...
