Has anyone stayed at the Hotel Pace Elvezia?

I am interested in staying at the hotel pace elvezia and am wandoring if anyone had any input on it. I really would like to stay in a hotel in Rome that is near the center of town with access to a pretty view either from my hotel room or a terrace and is less than $200 night. This hotel seems to have what I want but I just want to know if there is anything that I should watch out for. I know no hotel is perfect and so your comments are greatly appreciated.

This is kind of funny, but I actually lived in that hotel for three months, so I know it well though this was almost 10 years ago. At the time they were doing major renovations, but I remember that it was always very clean, comfortable, with a large continental breakfast offered every morning. People used to make sandwiches at breakfast and save them for lunch. The staff was very kind, though being there all that time we got to know them really well. The best thing though is the location, it really can't be beat. The hotel is at the base of the Quirinale, just around the corner from Piazza Venezia, and a five minute walk from La Fontana di Trevi, a 15 minute walk from the Pantheon. Best of all was the roof terrace, which is open to guests (or at least it was) and offers a fantastic view of the center of Rome. I was able to walk all over the center of Rome without using a bus, though if you don't like to walk Piazza Venezia is full of buses and taxis waiting to take you to where you want to go. I'd say book it.
