Google maps indicates that the station is permanently closed. I don't believe that to be true. Experiences of late? Thanks!
The stations don’t close, not even during the night.
The Trenitalia website shows frequent trains from FCO to Trastevere taking 27 minutes and costing €8. This wouldn't show if the station was closed
I just checked my Google maps and it said the train is running. It takes about 30 minutes and has 7 stops. It’s the way we always arrive into Rome. From the station we take the tram 8 deeper into Trastevere or closer to the Pantheon.
