harvest time in Sept, Cinque Terra?

I visited in the spring of 2011 and am excited to return this fall to Cinque Terra. I was captivated by the rail system used by farmers/growers on their terraced hillsides, and would love to witness harvest time. When are grapes picked in that region?

We were there in mid-Sept 2003 and they were hauling in the grapes from the hills at that time.
