I am thinking of taking an elderly relative to Rome to visit nearby Italian relatives and the vatican, but am concerned about the lack of bathroom access and need to walk long distances.
Is anyone aware of an organization that might provide special tours for the elderly/handicapped to Italy?

Mary, if you google "handicapped accessible italy" you will find a lot of sites with the information you seek.
