We are spending two Nights in Florence before our southern Italy tour in late September.
1. I am Looking for recommendations for hotels in Florence. Where does RS ‘s tours usually stay while there?
2. We only have two days there so any recommendations for a half or full day tour guide?

His Florence guidebook gives a number of good recommendation. Second, we have always had good luck with visiting the local TI to see what local tours and tours guides are available. This is something that we rarely arrange in advance.

Maybe my favorite RS hotel ever. My single room was small, but it was the closest thing to a castle I have ever stayed in. Not remotely modern, of course, so it depends on your preferences.
