Hi - My husband and I booked tickets with Walks of Italy to do their Legendary Venice: St. Mark's Basilica & Doge's Palace Tour a few months ago based on a number of recommendations in this Forum. I just received an email from them this morning that they have cancelled the date/time we selected due to operational reasons. We leave for Italy next Friday so I'm really bummed and scrambling now to figure out another tour that will get us into Doge's Palace and the Basilica without having to wait in the awful lines. We were booked for this on Monday morning (9/19). Any recommendations for other tour companies that do similar tour that you would recommend? This is my husband's first trip to Italy and I want to make it as memorable as possible for him. Thank you in advance for your help and any leads you can provide me.

don't panic too much, there are other tours to do, book them if it suits you.
this attractions get booked up fast, skip the line is not the same as skip security. you will have to go thru that line.
