We want to have a guided tour of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill - but not the Colosseum. And… I already just bought the entry tickets (“Super Pass”) online. Is there an option (tour company or private guide) for us to get just the guided tour?
Forum search results for past 2 years- maybe you will find something in these posts

We were there in June last year and I simply used the Rick Steves Audio Tour which is free and at your own pace. If you haven’t checked out this resource, you should. I’ve used them quite a bit and always found them to be great!
I am getting blocked from the Forum/Colosseum ticket website. curious if you had any issues with the website before getting it to work?
@Carrie,
I didn’t have any problems getting into the website. However, in the Rick Steves guide it says that the website is sometimes open only during Italy business hours, so take that into consideration. (But, I was able to get into the site during the early evening, North America East Time zone.)
It's been more than a few years, but in 2012 we used the Rick Steves tour in the book and found it very hard to figure out what we were looking at. We regretted not using a guide.
@Patricia, we walked through the Forum in 2005 using Rick Steves’ description and we also got confused. And that’s why we thought about having a guided tour this time - but it slipped my mind and I bought the entry tickets online, 36 euros for two people. The few guided tours that I’ve found (eg Viator, GetYourGuide) won’t provide the tour without including (charging me for) the entry fee.
I think/hope that the Rick Steves audio tour, combined with his guidebook description, will work better this time - partly because Google Maps will show us where we actually are, and also the RS audio tour has photos of each historical structure.
