Guided tour of Borghese Gallery?

Hi,

Does anybody have a recommendation for a good tour company to contact regarding a tour of the Borghese Gallery? Their website seems a little tough to navigate (even when it's working!) so I thought maybe I'd go with a 3rd party tour guide. Are Sundays a good day to visit the galleries?

Best,

Ryan

It's unfortunate that you're having difficulty navigating the Borghese website. We had a tour with them this past December which was excellent. I had a similar experience with their website but kept trying over a few days when it finally did work.

The official website is only "up" during the hours, Rome time, that the museum is open. Try to book during those hours?

Ah yes, I should have been more clear...
The ticketing site is indeed open 24/7.
Thanks for clarifying that point, jconsol.

The Borghese web site for tickets only goes through May 2, and has been like this for a couple weeks now. Do they open blocks of time by some schedule?

The standard policy at the Borghese is to strictly limit ticket sales, and your visit is limited to two hours. So you shouldn't encounter crowds significantly larger on weekends - perhaps a few more people queued and hoping for walk-up sales.
