I will be in Rome at the end of Sept and plan to purchase the guided Colosseum, Underground and Third Ring tour through Coop Culture. I understand I can purchase tickets online Monday, Aug 21, for Sept. I just noticed the site states I can purchase Aug 21 for Sept (the first 15 days). What am I missing?
Thanks for pointing that out Jenn and Ciaran your observations seem correct to me. Why is it that when I go to any tour guide company website that offers underground tours they have availability for underground tours the last 2 weeks in September?
Ciaran - Thank you for the information. It is very helpful.
Debbie - I'm not 100%, but I've read that tour groups have to go through the same exercise to get tickets and, although they offer tours, they can cancel on you at any time.
Hi Jenn,
I was on the Colosseum website at 3 am EST this morning to buy Underground tickets. Yes, it is only open the first two weeks in September and the tickets were all sold out by 330 am EST. So I just bought the regular tickets for the end of September when I go. Not sure if it will be open at all then, but it's worth a shot.
Tickets will go on sale on September 18 for the last part of the month. I'm sure they will sell out within minutes.
Donna
Hi Donna. Where did you get that info about tickets going on sale September 18 for the last part of the month. I do not see it on the coop web site. Thanks.
It's on the official site:
scroll down and look on the left of the page where they list all the dates for ticket sales.
Monday, September 18 to October 2017
I also believe this is the date they will sell October tickets.
Donna
Thanks for your reply. I actually did see that but thought it meant that you could purchase tickets for October on September 18th, not for the last 2 weeks in September.
