We have been looking at 100s of apartments in Rome for our summer visit (2 adults 2 teen boys). We found what seems to be a great website as in it lists 100s of apartments; however, there are no customer reviews/comments. 1. Has anybody used this website? 2. Is paying for a balcony view worth the $ in the summer? The GES Pantheon Terrace seems a great bargain.

Yeah, that would make me a little hesitant as well. You could email them and ask if they also have a listing in vrbo.com or tripadvisor.com, where you can find reviews. The catch with the reviews on vrbo is that they are vetted by the owners, so they won't post negative ones. The owners don't have any control over tripadvisor, but if there are negative reviews there, they might not tell you. My experience in renting apartments is that they never look as nice as the pictures. Also very common is that they turn out to be much smaller than they look. Good luck.
