Grey Line semi private tour of Vatican / or other guides ?

Would apprecciate any insight on your experience.
My travel agent is suggesting we do a semi-private tour of the Vatican ( 6 people, 4 hours, $350 for 2). She says it is well worth the money. I want to spend our touring dollars wisley, so would appreciate hearing from others who did it differently and were pleased with the experience.
Thank you.

I am aware of these tours, but have heard from others that they are very large, and not condusive to a meaningful learning expereince.

I don't need necessarily need a semi-private tour, but I am wondering if there is something between the 2 ?!

What did you like about this tour ? Whwere you able to ask questions of the guide ? Were you able to hear thier narration ?

We've done this tour in the past. Our group was about 12 people. Other groups looked about the same size as ours. I did notice bigger groups, but they were not the Vatican's own tour service. We were able to ask questions at any time we had one. Everyone had their own headphones to hear the guide. I was pleased with this tour and would do this tour again. Look at the Vatican web site to see what times are available, pay on line and print your ticket.
