Greek Drama Festival in Syracuse

We will be on a RS Sicily tour and arrive in Syracuse on a Sunday during the Festival del Teatro Greco. I'm trying to find out if we can fit in a performance on the day we arrive there. I can't find any information on when the performances begin -- afternoon? evening? Also, the tour description says for that day, after visiting Villa Romana del Casale, "we'll stop to visit a working farm and meet its owner, followed by a midday feast. Then it's on to Syracuse. This evening we'll take a walk through the city's historic old town on the island of Ortygia."
Any advice from someone who might have attended a play there and/or been on this tour? Also, should we get tickets way in advance? We'd be willing to forgo the evening walk for the play if the timing works.

I will also be in Syracuse for the Teatro Greco Festival in May/June 2022. We purchased a ticket for Agamemnon and our show starts at 7:15 pm. Here is a link to the calendar and ticket purchase site. https://www.indafondazione.org/en/

If anyone else is reading this and can offer suggestions for making the most of this experience I would appreciate hearing your suggestions. I am especially interested in knowing if I can see much of the Parco Archeologico while going to attend the show or if a separate visit is required.

Thank you!
