Greece and the Amalfi Coast

My friends and I are planning a trip to Greece and the Amalfi Coast for next May (2019). I need advice on the best strategy. Greece then Amalfi Coast or vice versa? My only thought on that is that it seems like transportation in and out of Greece is a little more iffy...and I don't want a problem on the day we are to depart for home. At this point, we are thinking we will spend two nights in Athens, then pick one island....probably Santorini (4 nights). In Italy, we would spend four nights or so in Sorrento and then another 4 nights in one of the AC towns....Positano perhaps? Any thoughts anyone has would be appreciated. The biggest puzzle for me at this point, again, is where to go first. Once in Greece, is it a headache to depend on hydrofoils/ferries to go from Athens to Santorini? Finally, if we go to Greece first, would we be able to fly out of Santorini to Naples? Thanks again!

P.S. Are there any things we simply CAN'T MISS?

You would do best to start on the Amalfi Coast getting there via Naples. You can fly from Naples to Athens on EasyJet.com or Aegean Airlines. You can fly out to Santorini on Aegean or Ryanair from Athens. From Athens, you can fly cheap on a number of budget air carriers to many major European cities.
