Great Place to Stay in the Center of Rome in Campo De Fiori

Inexpensive, Central Rome Apartment - I wanted to write to say what a wonderful landlord and host Giuseppe was while I was in Italy. I stayed at one of his apartments in Campo di Fiori. It was a small apartment, with a great location. It has the basics of what I needed, and I could walk to most anyplace, and indeed did, walk to most everyplace from it. I needed to be near the Vatican, about a 15 to 20 minute walk away as I was there for the Christmas season, covering the Pope’s First Christmas. Giuseppe always answered calls right away, took care of any issues, and allowed me to use the laundry machine in the neighboring apartment whenever it was empty and he could let me in. Giuseppe also was really helpful with where things were, whom to contact for things I needed, often a worry when staying in an apartment versus a hotel. He also gave me advice for a Naples day trip I was taking to see Christmas nativity sets, explaining about train schedules and pricing, looking things up for me, how to buy more cheaply, and where to go. The apartment was very reasonably priced considering the location, and I was able to be there for over two weeks, which would have been more expensive of course as a hotel. So, Giuseppe was a great host, and the apartment was a great, inexpensive, ideal location close to what I needed, and Giuseppe made my experience in Rome, my first trip back after 13 years, a real pleasure. I recommend staying in his apartments. And I say this as someone who is himself a travel writer, and has been to more than 80 countries with all kinds of experiences in different places to stay. Giuseppe's contact is +39 3478984347 and email is [email protected]
