Five years ago, I made the decision to take my family on our first trip across the Atlantic Ocean for a month-long trip to Italy. I have since collected a shelf full of travel books and a file box full of research. By far, one of the most valuable resources for my trip planning has been this forum. I have looked at it daily for about 4 years now and as recent as last week, was able to obtain a very helpful piece of information for my trip itinerary. My family has even begun to question my relationship with some "Roberto from Fremont" guy I have frequently referred to over the years!! With my departure date coming up on Tuesday (to say I'm excited is an enormous understatement!), I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who participate in this forum with questions, answers and helpful tidbits of information. Love this forum. I talk about some people so often, husband and friends are also beginning to wonder.
But, they do enjoy the info I pass on.
This is the best travel guide ever.
We'll be in northern Italy this September. This forum has helped put our trip together.

Enjoy your trip!! I loved my first trip to Italy so much last month I just booked another for end of august... you will love it and maybe you can write a small trip report when you come back :)

Beth ,have a fantastic time. Use a journal it really helps to remember your days. I too have to thank the many wonderful people on this forum. For years !! Roberto and Ken are the other men in my life too. My husband totally gets it !
