Apparently there is a way to download maps to your phone ot iPad. I don't really get the whole process. Is theva youTube video that explains it? Thanks for the help

Consider maps.me. It is ansxcellent map ap which allows you to download offline maps.

If you have a smart phone like and iPhone or ipad, a map app may have been preloaded. If you don't have a map app, you can download one from the App store or on Android from the play store if I remember correctly. It has been awhile since I used my Samsung.
