good womens shoes for Summer trip in Venice

Any cute yet comfortable sandles to walk around in Venice for a narrow foot? I checked the site for good shoes, but no one has mentioned ones for narrow feet. Thanks!

Look on Zappos.com; they have lots of sizes and widths and you can order a bunch and return with free shipping. I orderd about 10 pairs of different styles and sizes before my last trip and sent all but one back.

Kelly, I wear a 9N and they are not easy to find. SoftWalk shoes carries some in Narrow and so does Mephisto. Neither brand is what I would call cheap, mephisto being pricey. I have 3 pair of Softwalks that I use on trips, now I too am looking for the Softwalk sandals. If you have an opportunity to buy shoes at Nordstroms, they are the best! They allow you to wear the shoes enough to see how they are when broken in, and then return them if they don't feel right. Good Luck, let me know what you find
And have a great trip!

Kelly - I have a narrow foot and was only taking a carry on for a one month trip so the perfect shoes were critical. I decided on clarks in brown/black suede with rubber bottoms which could be worn with pants, casual skirts, and shorts. They looked great and were so comfortable that I bought two more pair when I got home. I did take dressier shoes for some of the nights but didn't wear them that much. Have fun! I can't remember the name but will check when I get home. The ones here are similar but mine were brown/black with different stitching.

The Clarks are called Privo - Monty and come in Black/Brown, Black/Black, or Black/Sand (not recommended). Have fun!

A friend of mine has similar challenges. She usually has does her shoe shopping at Nordstrom's as they often carry (or can get) narrow widths in shoes.

Last year she tried a pair of Naot sandals, as she was told they're a good brand for those with a slimmer foot. Sorry I don't know exactly which model of Naot's, but it was a style that had a velco strap. She did need to have a cobbler trim off the excess strap length, however, after that she was very pleased with the results.

Naot's brand can be found on Zappos >>>

I just came back from a 10 day trip to Italy and I wore my Naot Matai's the entire time. They are really comfortable with lots of support for your arch. They look like a maryjane so can be used with pants or skirts. Since I was packing light I also took some insoles that were really comfortable and switched them in my Matai's every other day. Didn't have a single blister and for the most part my feet were very comfortable.

Kelly,
I too have worn Naot Sandals in Europe during the summer. I have a narrow feet and they worked quite well. They have a padded cork foot bed that is fairly easy to break in. They are comfortable, cute and quite versatile (looking great with pants, shorts, skirts etc - depending on the style you get). Go to Naot.com to see all styles available. I have several pears on Naot sandals - all are exceptional. They are durable as well - some of mine are over 10 years old - still comfortable and still looking good. Good luck with the sandal search.
