I will be traveling to Italy - Rome, Venice, & Florence - in a couple months and was wondering if anyone could recommend some good places to stay or talk about their experiences in the places they have stayed? I am on a student on a budget though. Thanks! (:

It depends on what you're looking for. I'm a big fan of the Beehive in Rome (it's a hotel with one dorm room) but it caters to a quiet crowd. I stayed there a few years ago and will be staying again in October.

I was doing some research myself and came across this place there are two of them Hostels Alessandro--Alessandro PALACE and Alessandro DOWNTOWN
