I am looking for any suggestions/recommendations on where to buy a good quality mens blazer without breaking the bank.My wife and I are in Italy for 6 weeks so will be going to different places,but I assume I would be best looking in Rome,Milan or Florence.We are going home through London for 4 days,so maybe I am better looking there?Thanks in advance.Cheers.Bruce
interesting topic.would love to hear what other's will recommend. I might be wrong but Milano should be the best place in terms of options to choose from. Milan is the hear of world's fashion industry
Milan’s the place. Back in the 1980’s, an acquaintance spent an entire day at the Giorgio Armani store in Milan. He bought so many new suits and jackets that he also bought an additional suitcase to carry it all home. As a wealthy lawyer, he didn’t need to worry about breaking the bank, but he may have caused some strain on the baggage handlers loading his luggage onto the return flight!
What’s the dollar range you’re thinking of? “Breaking the bank” means different things to different people.
They are sold everywhere, not just in Milan.
For Florence I can recommend Santini store, on Via Alamanni next to the station. Great prices.
But in terms of finding something you like, it can happen in any of the cities you mention. There are hundreds of stores in each.
The fact that Milan is a fashion capital means nothing. If you need a car in America, do you go to Detroit to buy it? Are car choices more in Detroit than in Chicago or Los Angeles?
Maybe Detroit if you wanted a Chevy Blazer. 😉
