Can anyone recommend some delicious pasta/pizza places within walking distance of Via Marsilio Ficino Street in Rome that would be open over the Christmas holidays? Do you know of anything else fun to see and do in that area? Churches to visit? It's only about a 15 minute walk from there to the Vatican, we have read.
Flavio al Velavevodetto has a second branch very near to your accommodation, on piazza dei Quiriti. It comes highly recommended. You could easily walk to it, it's a 20 minutes walk in a very safe neighborhood. I recommend emailing them to ask whether they will close at all during the Holidays.
Wow, thanks for the fabulous recommendation!
