Effective this Sunday, you know longer need to take a Covid test to come home to the USA. Just in time for my upcoming trip to Italy. Yay!
I just heard this on the news. Thank god!!!!
As compared to thousands of questions about getting the test. Finally, that's over.
For now, at least.
Yay! Now everyone can fly together without masks while actively sick with COVID-19. And some European airlines are not allowing sick days this summer which is leading to strikes. Sounds fun.

You could do that before when flying domestically. No testing. What's the difference? Only people flying internationally have Covid?
Effective which Sunday? We're in Italy now, flying home to the U.S. this Wed June 15, have not been on the forum for a while, had not heard this, and hadn't seen anything on the news site.

Yesterday, June 12th.
Looking at news feeds now, just saw that. So I guess we can skip the test when we get back to Rome tomorrow. Thanks for the info.
