Has anyone ever attended Good Friday mass at St. Peter's? What are the crowds like for the square, museum and Bascilica? Is it a crazy thing to do?

There is no Mass on Good Friday.
There will be other services, i.e., Stations of the Cross, but no Mass.
Unless you are participating in the Liturgical services, out of respect for those who are, do something else that day.
Check to see what the Museum hours are if you want to do that; leave the Basilica to those participating in the services.

I suppose I should clarify. I meant to say has anyone ever been to the liturgical service at 5:00 pm at St. Peter’s? 😊
