Gondola Lessons

We will be in Venice on Sunday, May 10. I just read about a couple who took gondola lessons in Venice - does anyone have a link to the company that offers these lessons? Sounded fun -

Thanks.

You can book online at the above address.
It is a not for profit association. You row a batele which is wider and more stable than a gondola. Our family loved it.

Sue. One suggestion I forgot to make. They may give you the option of staying in the canals or going out into the lagoon for part of the time. If you go into the lagoon you can have a go at rowing at the rear. If you stay in the canals you only row at the front with the instructor at the rear. Personally, I would go with the option of staying in the canals as it is still good fun and much more scenic.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. We had our lessons on Sunday and loved it! It took us into a quiet area of Venice, and was so scenic. Our teacher was Caroline, a wonderful young woman who was a great instructor and gave us lots of good advice about Venice. We went into the lagoon for a bit, but it was crowded - many Sunday excursions. I would suggest going in the morning when it's less busy, and seems to be less windy.
