I have heard the golf cart tours of Rome are great, but they seems so expensive.
Anyone have recommendations on this? We are a group of 6 with 4 being older children at over $100 each that seems super high to me.
We did one, fully 10 years ago and thought it was wonderful. We did a 3 hour one with https://mybesttour.com/, We saw a ton, got into spots we would never have found on foot. We had walked for miles in rome so the golf cart thing was pure joy. I am enclosing their pricing list, it's your call.

This company has a general, 4-hour tour (you don't enter any structures along the way) that looks to run a little less than the one above (maybe not once you do the actual math) but I've no personal experience with them:

But honestly? I usually only recommend these sorts of tours for people with mobility challenges, multi-generational groups which include members with limited mobility, or maybe with very young children along. Your best way to explore Rome, especially if mobility doesn't appear to be an issue, is on your own two feet. It's also the most economical!
