Going to Vatican Necropolis - Do I need to buy separate tix for basilica?

I have thankfully been approved to go under St. Peter's Basilica to see the Necropolis. My question is, do I still need to purchase tickets separately to be able to go back up and see St. Peter's Basilica or is that included in the tour? Thank you for your help!

The Basilica is not a part of the tour, but there is no charge to get into the Basilica. The last time I was on the tour, we didn't exit in the Basilica. We had to go around to enter the Basilica separately.

My daughter and I are going to Rome mid September, 2007 and I have already emailed the necropolis for tix. Just wondering how long it took you to hear that you definitely got yours, and when is your trip?
