We were going to travel from Rome to Assisi on May 1st (a national holiday) and have booked a hotel in Assisi. We are only staying overnight and then onto Florence. The hotel would require a bus to get to the center of the city. Will these modes of transportation be open on May 1st? How about the sites in Assisi? I hope that there is someone out thatere that can answer this! Thanks!
