Iam travelling from the US in October arriving FCO at 10:00 AM, Iam meeting with a group of people coming from India who will be arriving at 1:00 PM the same day. I was wondering since I have some time, will I be able to go the Parco Leonardo mall and come back before meet up with my group. In reading the forums I see it is very close to the airport (1 stop away by FR1 train)

Let's assume it takes each party about the same time to collect luggage and navigate the airport - at least an hour. Will you also take some time to find the bag-storage area to leave your bags? The train only takes 5 minutes each way. I think you can do it, but be sure to let them know your plan, in case they end up waiting. Check their flight status before you leave the airport, to know whether it's expected on time.
