Giotto Pass…climbing the Campanile in Florence

I am hoping someone will know the answer to this.

I purchased Giotto Passes for my son and daughter-in-law and her parents next month when we are all in Florence for the day. The time they chose for the passes states 11:15am-noon. Does this mean that they enter the Campanile at 11:15am and then must exit at noon?
Thanks!

45 minutes is certainly enough time to climb the Tower, enjoy the views at the top, and make your way back down. I didn't see anyone keeping track of people leaving the Tower, only entering at the designated times when we were there last October. Be aware, however, that the steps are two-way: you will encounter people descending when you're ascending and vice-versa.

Sorry, I should have been more clear with my question.

I was asking if the entrance time is exactly 11:15am…not anytime between 11:15am and noon. Are the times listed entrance and exit times…or a period of time to enter?

Yes, the entrance time is 11:15, although I believe they give you a 5 minute grace period after the designated time. I know for a fact you cannot enter the Tower early. We saw several people try to do that and were told in no uncertain times to wait until their time was called!
