I'll be vacationing in Rome this summer and am interested in the name of the gift shop run by nuns in St. Peter's Basilica I believe. It was recommended to me. The name, location in the basilica or even a website would be greatly appreciated.
It is just as you exit St. Peter's Basilica. You can do a google search for vatican gift shop. There are 2 of them and when I was there - both were staffed by nuns.
Lovely items to look at and of course buy.
You will see the map location on the google search.
As you go up the stairs to the doors, stay right, and when you get to the top of the stairs, right before you enter St. Peter's Basilica, look right and you will see the entrance to the gift shop, can't miss it, there's a Gift Shop sign in quaint lettering on the top frame of the door. It's a 2-story gift shop, very busy, overflowing like a fruit basket! Much Fun!
