Anyone have an opinion on the nighttime spooky Rome tours that are out there? My son is traveling with us next month and while we have covered our bases for the Vatican and ancient Rome, the spooky tour is what intrigues him the most. Don't want to book if it's not worth it. Thanks!

I had not done the Rome tour specifically but I have done similar tours in Dublin, Prague, London, and Edinburgh and had a similar opinion of all of them: It was good fun, generally a little cheesy but a nice thing to add into the evening itinerary. I like that kind of stuff. My tour guides were always exceptional storytellers which is what made the tour entertaining rather than the actual content. Some of the stories had some rather violent and graphic details so I would check the age recommendations for the tour.
Hopefully someone who has done a tour in Rome can chime in! Is there a specific your you were looking at? I see there are a few.

We took this tour by Dark Rome a few years ago. It was nice to have a nighttime activity when it was warm during the day and the content was fun, with great (true) stories.
