What area of Venice is the best to stay in, if you have an early morning flight out of Treviso airport? Thx!

Jean, it depends on when your flight departs at Treviso and how early you need to be there for checkin. First, it's a 33-minute train journey. Second, the first train out of Venezia Santa Lucia train station is 5:00am. Thus, it doesn't matter where you are in the main part of Venice as long as you can get to the train station by 4:45am.
I don't know how far the Treviso train station is from the airport. Given an hour for airport arrival and check-in, hopefully, your plane will depart sometime after 7:30am for all of this to happen on time. If earlier than 7:00am, you might want to stay the night before in Treviso.
