Getting to Trastevere station

We will go by train from Paestum to Rome, and it would be very helpful to end up at Trastevere station. Is there an easy way to do this with luggage?

To find fares for the Italian trains, use the Trenitalia website. The options involving a Freccia train from Salerno or Naples are the fastest (often by an hour or more) and you can save by pre-purchasing those tickets (although that locks you into a specific travel day and time). The trains between Roma Termini and Roma Trastevere are very inexpenive, but you might also consider a taxi from Roma Termini if your lodgings aren't within a short walk of the Trastevere station. If you'll have to take a bus or taxi from the Trastevere station, then it might be easier with luggage to go directly to your lodgings from Termini.
