Getting to the Train Station from FCO airport Rome.

Greetings all,
Could somone advise on how easy is it to get to a train once we land at FCO airport? We wll be heading to the Railway Station called Termini. Just wondering if the train is actually in the airport or will we have to travel outside the airport proper to catch the train?

Thanks
Nate

It's very easy. Just follow the signs and the crowds.

The train track is inside the airport, just follow signage. When you get to a newsstand or kiosk that sells tickets for the Leonardo Express, buy your ticket(s), go to the platform, validate the ticket (big fine if you don't) and get on the train. Trains leave every 30 monutes or so, you should pull into track #24 at Roma Termini and just walk out the front entance to the taxi queue. Do not get into a cab elsewhere. The line may be long but it moves fast.

Check out roninrome.com for great practical info with lots of photos.

The FCO station is actually directly across from the terminal 3. There is a pedestrian aerial walkway you will use to walk across the street to the station from the terminal. Just follow the train icon.

Thanks, Roberto. I meant that the train stop is on the airport property.
