We'll be landing at Malpensa in the morning and would like to get to Rome that day. Would rather take the train than fly. Does anyone know how to get from the airport to Rome by train? Is that possible?

Very possible. First, you have to take the frequent bus run from Malpensa to Milan Centrale. This run takes just over an hour. Then, buy your tickets for the next high-speed run to Rome and you are on your way. With many runs, there are no train changes. Your ticket purchase will include any seat reservations.
